Indica over the years
'Fun with Fundas' since 2016
Engaging the Mind.
The first edition of Indica had one quiz, for classes 12 and below. Since 2019, the event has expanded to two quizzes, one exclusively for Middle School (classes 5-8) and one for High School (Classes 9-12).
(A “college” category was introduced in 2017 but was discontinued later)
The unique aspect of the quiz is that all the questions have an India connection.

Memory Lane
The quiz, which began as a one-off on Republic Day in 2016 is now established as a regular event in the quizzers’ calendar. It has grown in popularity over the past six years.
Contestants in Indica have come from all parts of the country.
Pondicherry, Hyderabad, Kannur, and Tiruchirapalli are some of the cities that have been represented.
The winners of the High School quiz in 2018, Ketki Moghe and Tanmay Chindaliya, were from Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Nagpur.
Ours is a vast country with diverse cultures. There are so many things that can capture our attention. A quiz on India for school children is therefore an excellent idea, especially one that goes beyond the textbook, bringing out many interesting facts. The footprints of this odyssey will surely grow.
