Indica over the years

Engaging the Mind

“Fun with Fundas” since 2016

Indica was first held on Republic Day in 2016. The aim was to bring out the interesting aspects of our country, and to expose school children to the diversity of this wonderful nation.

The first edition of Indica had one quiz, for classes 12 and below. Since 2019, the event has expanded to two quizzes, one exclusively for Middle School (classes 5-8) and one for High School (Classes 9-12). It is now an established event in the school-quizzing calendar and has grown in popularity over the years.

Indica is all about celebrating India. The content takes a deep dive into a range of topics beyond school academics, and all the questions have an India connection.

Ours is a vast country with diverse cultures. There are so many things that can capture our attention. A quiz on India for school children is therefore an excellent idea, especially one that goes beyond the textbook, bringing out many interesting facts. The footprints of this odyssey will surely grow.
